I grew up using sling style bags. I do not like that i have to change bags often because the back pack area where the slings are sewn in always rips. So i changed to sling bags. They last way longer than backpacks. Yes i carry bricks in my bag.

These days i use an old used IBM leather sling laptop bag as my work bag. Last way longer that any RM300 nylon sling bag i paid for. The insides needs refurbishing though as the lining is all torn up from wear.

cos they don't care how they look to others anymore. They have other important thinks to consider aside from being judged for how they look.
Convenience over fashion.

power bank, hair gel, tablet, car keys, sunglasses. Anything else ?

If wear on a side without crossing still bearable, if cross ....really looks ah long/ahbeng and obviously fake.

why everyone say ahlong? i personally havent seen ahlong but can imagine that they have ah beng style so will dress like that. but imo, i think it looks more like the dvd seller from a few years back that used to sell vcd and dvd at pasar malam. all they're missing is dyed hair and walkie talkie.
