Old stats.

Latest from China’s Ambassador to Malaysia Dr Huang Huikang:

QUOTE
1. China continued to be Malaysia’s largest trade partner for the eighth year in a row.

2. China topped the FDI country list last year. It was the first time we surpassed the United States, Japan and Singapore in FDI value.

3. We surpassed Singapore to be the largest investor in Malaysia’s real estate.

4. China continued to be one of the largest foreign contractors. Chinese corporations are contractors for many huge infrastructure projects.

Still...none of the sentiment of selling the country to those 9 investors. China is also the same. We don't see it is right to say were selling our countries to foreign when they actually investing to Malaya right?

That's because the other 9 countries invest mainly in manufacturing/oil & gas and other sectors, while China mainly invest in our infrastructure/real estate/construction where they hold our land for ransom/collateral or worst directly sold to them.
See the situation in Maldives.
See the quotes by the Chinese ambassador in the article above, and the statistics by MIDA for FDI from various countries and sectors:

How does a country hold land and property for ransom, when you have eminent domain?

See our claims on Spratly as an example.

QUOTE
Why Malaysia Stays Quiet About Its Claims In The South China Sea
Malaysia tries to avoid rocking boats because the claimant most likely to splash disputed water on it is China. China happens to be Malaysia's chief economic partner and one with a record of withdrawing economic support elsewhere when friends turn hostile.

China, a global economic heavyweight, is Malaysia’s top trading partner and source of direct foreign investment. State-owned China General Nuclear Power Corp. bought Malaysian development firm 1MDB’s energy assets in another company for 9.83 billion ringgit ($2.37 billion) in November and a month later China Railway Construction Corp. bought a multi-billion ringgit equity stake in real estate mega-project Bandar Malaysia. Those are just two investment examples.

But for the past year China has stationed a coast guard ship at one shoal that Malaysia claims and it regularly patrols another. There’s no way Malaysia can be thrilled.
