Domestic no problem because Bakkwa is not prohibited item on AVsec.

Singapore confiscate is Kastam, nothing to do with AV sec (handcarry or not) because it was land checkpoint.

Basically AV Sec prohibited-check-in then no problem. But Kastam-check-in also can have problem.

I also carried 4.5 kg of Bakkwa to Ho Chi Minh City on Thaipusam holiday, heng Vietnam customs no problem. 4kg in check-in luggage. 500 gm in handcarry because that one I was eating, later share with GF when she pick me up.

That one is bodoh country punya pasal. Everything also need AVA approval, even Wild Boar meet also prohibited. Go read my previous posts on wild boar meat.

TS ask also simply ask-no ask is it AV Sec issue or Kastam issue. Singapore case was kastam issue, nothing to do with Aviation.

actually we can't take food/fruits by flight, all need to have proper document to check by health department
