But the question is....is the DC using the Carl Zeiss lense or not? since the camera itself written it is Sony Lense. Moreover, all the previous Sony's DC is using Carl Zeiss lense.

Say, you want to shoot in low light condition without using flash, you want to keep your ISO low?

If you really know how to use the camera, you adjust the ISO according to the lighting of the shooting environment. Your above statement also implies that pro photographers who really know how to use their cameras won't use high ISO no matter what the lighting is.

Edit: Also, there's the noise factor to take into account. So compromising between ISO and noise has to be done.

I don't think so. I google, couldn't find. Except for those with higher price only come with Carl Zeiss lens. You caught a good point

when 6mp cameras were selling like 1.5k, i stumbled upon a dirt cheap DC.
4mp for 400RM. it was those brandless ones...

this sony...? 650.... i think someone hit the nail on the head - trying to compete with entry level DCs. their t100 ain't cheap alright smile.gif so comparing two sony cameras each on different sides of the spectrum price range, u will conclude, one's of good quality and the other is... well... smile.gif u know what i'm implying
