Hi guys i plan to upgrade my laptop's ram to 8gb from 4gb, i ran a compatible test on crucial and it recommend me DDR3L ram. However when i run CPU-Z and my task manager they said my ram slot is DDR3 and i cant find a way to check my ram's voltage as it is onboard ram so which one should i buy ddr3l or ddr3?

Basically you can use either. No problem. Make sure your motherboard can accept DDR3 and DDR3L.
DDR3L is a dual voltage capable (1.35V and 1.50V).
DDR3 only support 1.50V operation.

you know, sometimes its as simple as opening the laptop and check for the actual specs. since you plan to replace it yourselves, thats the least you need to do.
