Launch the Terminal (found in /Applications/Utilities/ or with Spotlight - command + spacebar)
At the command prompt, type:
CODE
dot_clean /Volumes/ROSHAM_WHAT_EVER_YOUR_DRIVENAME/
or
CODE
cd /Volumes/ROSHAM_WHAT_EVER_YOUR_DRIVENAME/
find . -name ".DS_Store" -depth -exec rm {} \;
find . -name ".DS_Store" -depth -exec rm {} \;
Try delete your file inside external drive again.
