My first official job 2014

Job Title : Regional Marketing Operations Exec (APAC)

Company: Singapore company
Tenure : Permanent
Employment Level : Entry
Experience before joining (years) : Fresh grad
Highest paper qualification/ education background : Degree

Basically I didn't even bother doing any research on the market rate back then and later found out I was underpaid for a regional role.
Need to wait till the end of the year for the increment.

The same company -got acquired by Global UK MNC 2016

Company: UK MNC
Tenure : Permanent
Employment Level : Managerial
Experience before joining (years) : 2 years

Average Working Hours: 9-10 hours a day (90% working from home but the EU timezone diff was a bitch. 10% travel for meetings & events)

Monetary Payout

Fixed Allowance: RM500 for transportation (yeah working from home right, just because it was hard to nego the increment)
Bonus: 13th month bonus

Benefits (where relevant) :
Health Benefits : RM1500 per annum for Optical/Dental/Health
Mobile / Internet / Gadget Benefits : RM300 max phone bill claim
Flexi Working Hours : Very flexible but comes with the territory. That damn timezone diff.
Other Benefits : Travelling abroad for business(more like yumcha session) was definitely one of the highlights working here.

Working from home in your boxer during conference call, but my sleeping hours was all over the place.
Indeed the best but not worth the pay.

The same company -wanna pull me to Singapore 2017

Ok obviously it was just an offer and their MoM wouldnt approve my S-Pass/Employment Pass application and even the appeal.
No reason were given but most can tell that the pay offered was way below SG market rate for managerial level. (cheap labor)
Ended unemployed for 10months. FML

Finally a new offer I literally just signed/accepted. 2018

Apologies for the long post just wanna share my journey here. Being unemployed for 10months sucks. (freelancing getting kinda shitty)
At the end of the day it just depend on how much(salary) you think you can live with while maintaining the so called "work-life balance".
Even if you're underpaid and enjoying your day-to-day, no harm in looking out other opportunities befits your talents just as long as you can sacrifice something(your current state) for it.
