SGD 9K was just the base. I still get 20% bonus on top of that. More importantly, I was desperate to join in-house so I hopped at the opportunity. I was lucky to get 9K without any in-house experience
Agency - my base was only RM10K (everything else on top was pure commission and it's BRUTAL. A LOT of hustle is required for those sales calls/month end push). Age was catching up and I just don't see myself doing it anymore.

Career advancement is also generally better in-house vs an agency.
