2 years passed since my last update. managed to secure an offer from consulting firm after completed my mba.

the firm has up or out policy. if you can't promote within 2 to 3 years then have to leave the organization. very stress working environment with ~80 working hours / week.

been there for few years. resigned to pursue mba and now back to China again

lawyer can earn a lot too. I knew few of my peers graduated from top law schools get paid handsomely

1 and half years passed since my last update. Just left the firm couple of weeks ago and will back to corporate in next week

salary : Base pay about the same but better working hours, with stock option giving in annual basic with 1 year vesting period, ~13% of additional saving plan which can only exercise 3 years after, ~15% of performance bonus
qualification: mba
sign-on bonus: close to ~20k USD

The income tax in China is way higher than Malaysia & Spore but foreigner have additional tax deduction benefit where 30-40% of your base pay can be exempted from taxation through your spending in housing and meals
