Some update over here, recently resigned due to various negative impacts. Resigned without offer while having some interviews going on.

Went through some interviews and tests, got offered for all the interviews and picked fintech startup.

Hopefully it won't behave like banking industry, quite disappointed with the management decisions since I really like my current job and it is my first formal job after graduating innocent.gif

Isn't lawyer need to follow a 'sifu' for few years or so then only can be admitted to BAR? And usually during this time, the pay will be pity as they see you as a trainee / learning from them rather than working

Well it depends on individual

Some think it is a ripoff, while some will say it is normal or the path to success

But when you see the other part of the earth does not promote such culture you will start to feel they are ripping us off

Nevertheless, come to the end I feel that it is because there are people willing to be ripped off that is causing this
