generally u'll get 20-30% for promotion , or 10-20% for average to over achieve

but it was before the company acquired by another stingy company. it stuck at 1-5% now i heard.

my dad also 6X, just quarreled with him yesterday...
he has some degree of alexithymia, make it very hard to communicate with him...
I feel very sad...

but isn't salary, ultimately, also for family? parents, wife, children...etc...

hard to tell, maybe not alexithymia, but something similar,
his emotion go uncontrol, with a lot of anger, especially toward family members, someone who are close to him, unintentionally.
He thinks it is everyone else problem, but not his problem.

I have tried very hard to communicate with him for years,
but recently I realized that this is not something can be solved with communication,
perhaps, its a mental health issue.

27 YO - Quit due to burnout. Took a break for 3 months.
27 YO - Went to equities trading, local trading firm. Base RM 2000 + (15% commission)
28 YO - Quit trading job due to toxic environment.

28 -30 YO - Went freelance; started own IT consultancy company. Providing solutions, especially blockchain/smart contracts. overseas client in USD. Due to the crypto market rising exponentially for these two years, was very lucky. Already made enough to retire, and a fixed passive income of 200 usd daily

i got no kpi/target at all. more like my company hires me for a show-show to customers that our company has a service people in your area.
