1st job (20 y/o), 4 years: 2k - 2.4k
On my own, 5 years: avg. 5k
2nd job, Year 1 - ~7k
2nd job, Year 2 - ~8.3k
2nd job, Year 3-4 - ~11.1k
2nd job, Transfer to EU, Y1-2 - ~16k RM (~4k EUR)
2nd job, Transfer to EU, Y3-6 - ~25k RM (~5.2k EUR)
3rd job, Year 1 in new EU country - ~60% more.

So far OK kua, no real complaints. Finding market salary in EU as a foreigner was a real pain though, only real way to do it is to start anew with a new company.

What's the tax rate like for a foreigner in EU? Seems pretty steep at first glance

The total increment seems like on the lower end.
Malaysia now already with total exam increments of 8k+.

What's the industry average of a certified actuarist? I've always imagined they'd be close to c-level pays

Rewards team? As in managing the guidelines of compensation packages of the company in general? That's some explosive salary increment in 3 years. What are your responsibilities in the comp?

Oh wow, that consecutive jump. SE field seems super lucrative nowadays. What are some of your primary resp in the company? The new company was ok with your short tenure?

You are right. Generally it's setting the guidelines and principles around compensation strategies via areas such as pay, benefits and incentives.

A lot of it tends to be around crafting and reporting the HR comp strategies and outcomes to the CEO and Board.

Hmm, so next progression would be stepping into the c-level?
