How important is your role to the company?

On a side note, please jump. Your salary is what I receive 6 years back when I'm a fresh grad. Though different fields, would expect your working experience compensate your salary as well

I am looking for a new job as they offer me to extend the contract. On the other hand I would want a stable job with more securities. Can u guys help me to determine the range of my expected salary?

Try asking for 5k negotiable. Im a past engineer at one o&g contractor. You need to jump more in O&G in order to get good salary

wow jumping from 3k to 5k acceptable issit? O&G sector kinda fell down right now so do u think they will accept that kinda offer?

Im sorry but my previous job(before the temp) is only a small co, so this is kinda like a culture shock for me.

5k is kinda normal rate for O&G freshie especially on contractor site. Just try ur luck

Why dont work in aviation insdustry instead? Hard to get in?
I think aircraft maintenance can earn a lot.

I major in helicopter maintenance and there is no vacancy at the moment..
Aiming for oil and gas when I graduate but now oil and gas market crashed..

3months working and start to think about hopping already ?

Pls be serious man. 3170 is good...some banks still starting at 2800. I did hop 3 months into my first job but it was not due to salary. I just wanted to do something that aligned to my longer term interests.
