Am I the only one who face a lot of problems whilst in IMU? Like with student services.

QUOTE(LinYao @ Aug 10 2015, 10:52 AM) ahhh the dreaded PTPTN loan... haha had my share of issues when I applied as well They didn't get the accreditation for my cohort. So we basically lost some of our loan due to it. Which was really annoying.Though for BB1M it does seem that we receive it slightly later than some other universities. Not sure if it's their fault though. p/s: not sure about the latest enrollment for Med but from the sound of one of my lecturers (who's been an interviewer for the med intakes) they always had to reject a lot of students due to limited space. Getting slightly later is still okay. We didn't receive ours at all. |

QUOTE(LinYao @ Aug 12 2015, 12:53 PM) It's bad right? We did. We were all so tired of IMU even before we transferred we still had some minor issues from our student services department. IMU compensated us with book vouchers from MPH. Yeah. But there was no compensation for the 10k I lost from the PTPTN loan. Lol. |

QUOTE(Archmage Warlic @ Aug 28 2015, 02:15 PM) What do you mean by "didn't get accreditation for your cohort"? Were you one of the earliest med students in IMU? Was the programme not accredited (by MMC, I assume?) when you joined / graduated? How, or why did you lose your loan? What loan? The accreditation expires after a period of time, they couldn't get the accreditation in time when we came in to IMU. Because of that we couldn't apply for PTPTN loan. Due to this delay we had to apply later and there were a lot of hitch and bumps along the way in the end some of my classmates got 20k less of what we originally applied for, I got 10k less. Sorry, I'm joining the discussion midway and I'm confusing myself with things. Care to elaborate on what happened (either here or via PM)? And no, I'm not med student, I have not graduated. I just transferred to overseas. Edit: Sorry I'm not sure if I explained it right. Haha. I have problems trying to explain my thoughts sometimes, hope that explains it!
