i thought conditional offers are given AFTER interviews.....so all you need is get that minimum result?....

aab is about equivalent to atar 80 only, so it is rather low, seeing they want atar95 for sam/ausmat.....

really! i always thought that AAA would be equivalent to something higher than atar 95!

Have you heard back from UCD?

Hi, and yeap i got the conditional offer, so yeah will be going there if i get my full As, but i'm worried that there might be a possibility of a B grade, so i applied to IMU as well tongue.gif

about 17% of all a levels students sitting for the uk boards exams (cie and edexel are 2 of them) will get aaa........therefore anyone with aaa will be in the top 17% of the student cohort....in the australian atar system, that represents any atar above 83..........

about 4% gets a*a*a*......ie that is atar96 and above......

hence, it is very obvious that it is easier to get into many courses with a levels than an oz year 12 qualification....because they may only want aaa.....which if you have done the oz system, may be atar83, but with 83, you will not even be allowed to apply!.........

p/s....from liberal arts to medicine?..... hmm.gif

ah i see, thanks smile.gif
