IMU lecturers are more friendly than those of Monash local lecturers at interviews. However, whatever the outcome, your academic results and sufficient funding will guarantee you a place. UK uni lecturers are more friendly and will put you at ease before extracting the relevant info from you.

Hi, and yeap i got the conditional offer, so yeah will be going there if i get my full As, but i'm worried that there might be a possibility of a B grade, so i applied to IMU as well Added on March 11, 2012, 3:56 pmQUOTE(limeuu @ Mar 10 2012, 10:08 PM) about 17% of all a levels students sitting for the uk boards exams (cie and edexel are 2 of them) will get aaa........therefore anyone with aaa will be in the top 17% of the student cohort....in the australian atar system, that represents any atar above 83.......... about 4% gets a*a*a*......ie that is atar96 and above...... hence, it is very obvious that it is easier to get into many courses with a levels than an oz year 12 qualification....because they may only want aaa.....which if you have done the oz system, may be atar83, but with 83, you will not even be allowed to apply!......... p/s....from liberal arts to medicine?..... ah i see, thanks And no, my brother is using my acc This post has been edited by loonie111: Mar 11 2012, 03:56 PM

Be careful, IMU is extremely popular now. A few of my friends got delayed by 1 intake..so you may have to wait
They do show preference to A-levels though..

There are two intakes a year so any delay not a big issue. The important thing is to get the place first. If you are lucky enough, you may be given an earlier intake should other students reject the offers as many students took the August intake as "insurance".

Abt 200 per intake, so a year should be 400.
