All fuels are the same (99% of content), just use the one nearest to your office or home.

If you want slightly better fuel, use Top Tier fuels like Shell and Caltex.

Those who feel power or obtain more mileage are experiencing placebo effect.

Personally, Caltex and BHP's ron 95 and 98 are the best so far. I usually go for Caltex for location convenience and bcard points accumulation.

Tested on Alza 2014.

I think I'm inclined to agree with you, just got my turbo Civic which was already good enough on the free 95 my SA pumped for me. The 97 produced no difference at least with Caltex.

What's funny is that when I used to drive my Myvi the 97 made a huge difference in terms of acceleration from stop. I guess I was hoping to see the same gains here with the Civic but alas innocent.gif

Your Myvi must be quite old with lots of carbon deposits in the engine, thus increasing its octane requirement. Have you ever tried using fuel system cleaners like Caltex Techron Concentrate Plus?

No I haven't, but I'll let my sister (who inherited the Myvi) know biggrin.gif thanks!

1. Which Petrol Brand do you prefer? - Petronas RON95

2. Why that Petrol Brand? Fuel Efficient? Cost-Saving? Better Performance? Collect Point? Cash Back? - Near to home and has a considerably good rewards system. I think it's second to Petron Miles? And so far I'm satisfied with Petronas

3. What is your Fuel Saving Tips? - Light on gas, look far ahead, anticipate traffic movement to avoid unnecessary acceleration and deceleration. Lift of your throttle when nearing slow moving traffic / traffic lights.
