Upgrade the GPU. GTX 1070 is for 2560x1440. Not recommended for 3440x1440.

No problem running GTX 1070 with ultra-wide monitor. And GTX 1070 do support 4K resolution.

What AAA games you want to play?
If GTX 1070 is enough might as well save the money.

Support and not recommended are two different things. Yes, there is a problem. Unless you wanna tell people to play games with poor performance. There is another user with same issue a few months ago. GTX 1080 solves it.

Oh, I don't give a crap about youtube videos. Games people play may be different.

Yeah, telling people to buy something that may not be good enough in the future is not smart at all.

No one is telling or forcing anyone to buy anything. The owner should take the info given and make their own decision.
If follow your logic, everyone should buy Bugatti Veyron as it is the fastest road car in the world.

Btw, real nice just to compare gpu performance in PUBG. rclxms.gif

Well, he already signed up for high end GPU when he goes 3440x1440.

My logic? Nope. That will be Titan V if that's what you think.

Should be excellent with 1080p ultra on GTX 1070.
If you want top notch performance, GTX 1080 it is.

I believe ghost recon wildlands itself is very demanding...witcher 3 should be ok

my monitor resolution is 3440x1440, it has more than twice pixel than 1920x1080

i can get The Witcher 3 run 60fps if i lower setting to high
