this is one of the many obvious benefits enjoyed by android switcher.

android has improved much over the years but it still an inefficient software.
- drains a lot of power during usage and idle.
- poor (and ugly) user interface and apps.
- still lag. although it's much better since froyo but can never achieve the smoothness of ios.

as for s7 edge, the curve screen may look nice when switched off.
during usage, it distorts the viewing experience and also prone to unwanted touches.

congrats for making the right choice finally.

+1 to that. so far during idle, i noticed that the drop in battery percentage is very low which is good. i can sleep with 20% of charge and wake up with 18% in the morning.

android for me have been great, but as you said, efficiency is still not there (and bad RAM management).

s7 edge is a great device, but the curve screen is a PITA. i'm left with only mobileoutfitters SP.

wanted to upgrade to s9+ initially, but hated the curved screen lol.

if apple in the future follow the curve screen, you will hate also it? whistling.gif  hmm.gif

definitely. last iphone that i used was iphone 3g, so no problem with android (or any other OS lol). unless in the future there's a usable tempered glass for curved screen, i'll consider.

i noticed that there's a lot of dust at the front lens, sensors and IR under the screen protector. this is so annoying.

Preferable to get a screen protector which does not cover the top portion of the sensors where dust can get trapped underneath.
*
any suggestion of brands to get? i'm currently using vmax. the screen protector is great (other than the dust issue).
