hey X owners, any of you having the X feel like this reviewer/ agree with points raised?

Some here have had for about 3 months right? What's short term conclusion?
*
1. Coating: I wonder how this guy chipped his coating, mine looks totally fine and i don't even pay attention to taking care of it.
2. Strongest glass: *Looks at phone* well no scratches yet. In a case since day 1.
3. iOS11: Don't have any major quips, it works fine most of the time. I do need to restart the phone every couple of days because it starts to work up (eg: screenshots stop displaying)

*Halfway through the video I realize that i have a more laid back attitude towards stuff like this wheres he is a bit more OCD/demanding as he is a "heavy user"*

4. Battery life: it was great, until 11.2.5 biggrin.gif Seems like it went back to normal this week though. Lets see how this goes.
5. App Optimization: I think this depends on developers no? blink.gif
6. Headaches/Sore Eyes: mega_shok.gif Nope. But since he is a self proclaimed heavy user, if he uses the phone 12 out of 24 hours, of course he is eventually going to get a headache...
7. Speakers: Actually i feel the speakers are a weak point, its abit soft biggrin.gif
8. Cameras: I love the 4K video shooting mode too haha. Front cam has always been kind of a dud. I will use the back cam even if i want to selfie.
9. Hand vs phone ratio: Well i do have smol hands, so no issues here.

*Up to this point, i feel he just is not suited to use the iPhone X, he should stick to his iPhone 8+...*

That being said i'm not what most consider a heavy user, social media, some games thats all so all the problems he has encountered are not as apparent to me.

As a standard user, the phone is working up to my expectations.

To reset your phone. We generally have it on 24/7 and the ram can run out of memory. One telltale sign is for no reason one of your apps just stop working. My older folks always have this problem.
*
My cue to restart is always when the screenshot preview stops appearing at the bottom left corner sweat.gif

Recently i'm facing no internet connection issue even it is showing 4G full bar in my iphone x. i reset network setting and also factory reset and restore, but still facing the issue sometime.

any other advise from the experts here?  i'm using maxis btw.
*
Not sure if this is a phone or telco issue, but i've encountered the same issue as you, usually at night. Its occurred twice before and I've thought nothing about it as Digi's network kaputs sometimes.

Now that you've mentioned it, i guess i should pay more attention when it happens next time sweat.gif

You are charging the phone via wall plug without using any case?
*
I get that it might have static during charging, but i usually don't use my phone while its charging. Been using TPU casings all the while.

I didn't notice this until my friend used my iphone and said that it numbed hands due to static. And I always assumed my left hand was going numb due to my advancing age age hahaha biggrin.gif

Did some digging and some users commented its due to static.

If the phone is charging and you’re holding it then yes.

How many case owners use to buy ....
*
I tend to buy alot cos taobao...its cheap haha. And TPU casings get yellow really fast dry.gif

I usually will have one or two more "atas" kind of brands though. After I change phone i usually will give away any casings that are still in good condition.

Oh ya, that’s right - the iMac one laugh.gif

You got it from the kickstarter campaign?
*
Yeap. Got in @ $22 via Early Bird.

Another 2 days to go for the campaign, if anyone wants should grab one quick. I'm really tempted to get the purple one hahaha

Short review,

Its actually a 3 piece case, with a silver TPU shell inside (Laser mock up interior) and a 2 piece outer PC shell.

Its easy enough to put in but doesn't really want to come off sweat.gif

Good protection but that means it makes ure phone thicker and heavier then it already is.

I'm quite a careless person but so far no marks, scratches or dings on the case yet. The Bondi blue portion is actually...frosted (?) and has a grippy feel to it. For red and graphite versions they are glossy and apparently more slippery.

Nice! Good price too. I decided against getting it coz already using the phone with a bulky Otterbox case and didn’t want another bulky case, tempting though as it may be smile.gif
*
Honestly if it weren't for the early bird i wouldn't have bought it too laugh.gif

Thanks for sharing, wonder if the iPhone Gen 1 casing is similarly thick as the iMac one.

If it is then imma skip, phone is heavy enough.
*
I assume it is, all the spigen cases i've owned were thick sweat.gif

Maybe you can google, there are quite a few reviews for these cases.

Hi guys,

Got my iphonex last month but i notice this phone has serious signal reception issue, the location keep jumping, while driving on main road the waze keep showing im on the small road beside.

Its almost unusable, just sometime its working properly. From what i can notice the problem is not waze app but the weak signal reception of iphone x.

I used to get full signal bar at home with the 6s but now most of the time i get 3 bar only.

Hometown even worst, my parent rm200 asus phone got full bar while i have 1/2 bar! Same carrier.

Anyone has the same issue? I almost cant tahan it anymore this is unacceptable for such as expensive phone.

Previously use 6s no issue at all.
*
A few of my friends have the same issue after updating to 11.4, have to constantly reset network just to get 4G to come back on.

Any recommendation for a good screen protector? Ideally clear but less fingerprint smudges smile.gif

I've yet to meet any screen protector that doesn't eventually smudge, but this is decent

anyone using jaybird x3?

read that audio lags when paired with iphone x.

also how is the connectivity when phone is in the pocket?
*
Current user of the Jaybird X3. Connectivity is fine for me, however battery life is not. The earphones keep draining battery even while they are turned off, they also use a propriety charger for this so is freaking mahuan as you have to bring everything along with you and charge two times a day.

I guess the connectivity is better than my previous Jabra Rox, which got fuzzy as soon I turned my head to face the left whilst my phone remained in the left side pocket of my backpack. Had no such issues with the X3.
