I bought my 256GB iPhone X from Lazada in February for RM4888. I think 4500 for a used one is quite a hard sell. I guess maybe 4000 would be more interesting.

I preordered the Note 9 but still haven’t collected it coz was overseas last week. Passed my iPhone X to my wife and sold off her 8 Plus. Gonna try it till the next iPhone comes to town

The Note 9 is relatively inexpensive if you consider what you’re getting in the preorder. RM3699 for 6GB/128GB and a free smart watch worth at least RM700 thrown in the mix. If you sell off the smart watch (which is what most people are doing) then the actual cost for the phone becomes lower than 3k.

Even as an Apple fan, I’ll admit that Android has come a long way and has improved in leaps and bounds in recent years. It’s just a different experience compared to iOS.

Somehow I get the feeling more people will upgrade this round so Malaysia might get the new iPhones later.

The only reason for me to go 6.5 is the battery, I think. To be honest I really like how the current iPhone X fits in the hand and pocket, but the battery life could be slightly better. I don't do much media consumption on my phone coz I have an iPad for that so the bigger screen is not crucial for me.

Anyway, here's what a well-known analyst thinks Apple will announce in two weeks' time.

I think iOS 12 will appeal more to those with older iPhones with the promise of a bump in speed for them.

Actually iOS 12 isn't that exciting for me. And based on what already has leaked for the iPhones 2018, that's probably not too exciting as well. Probably nice to see what else gets announced. The long, long awaited Air Power? Hahaha...

Edit: On the plus side, I've just checked Apple online, and prices remained the same, looks like no SST imposed just yet. Maybe on Monday...

No, there is no official UAG store in One U, but you can buy the UAG cases from authorized Apple Premium Resellers like Switch and machines (I'm not sure if Mac City in 1U has it but I don't remember seeing it there). You could also try buying online via UAG's official Lazada Store.

For Klang you can try Machines at Aeon Bukit Tinggi, and for Shah Alam there is a Machines also at Setia Alam Mall. There used to be a Switch at Aeon Bukit Raja but they've folded recently. There is also a Mac City in Klang Parade but they are relatively small, not much choices there.

If it's smooth, fluid and speedy, then I wouldn't call it lousy

Ahh, OK, haha. I don't have to try it, I know iOS 11 comes with a lot of challenges, ha ha.. Can't wait for 12 to be official

The higher they set the price, the faster it will drop thanks to all these online platforms. The 256GB iPhone X retailed at 5899 during launch in November, I bought it via Lazada for 4888 in February during their CNY sale. Ori MY set.
