Yup if  charge up to 80%, will be damn fast. But after that, same trickle charge as with iPad adapter.
*
Used to charge to 100 but now just charge to 80 then unplug and use normally. Charge daily now sometimes from 40 sometimes from 50 depends on the usage.

Recommended to charge in small amounts rather than fully charge.

May i know what is the benefit of only charge to 80% only. Better battery life?

Agreed, too. In fact I used to even top up as and when I liked during the day, multiple times. Pretty much abused my ip6 for 2 years.

Recently loaded iOS 11.3 beta2 on the ip6. Battery health still good, it reports.

Ain’t got no time for battery kungfu lol..

I don’t know whether the X battery is any different from other iPhones. I always charge my iPhones/iPads and X in airplane mode. I’m still using my iPad 2. The only thing I make sure is that the battery never go below 10% before charging.

Just sacrifice some money and get the 29w from apple. It is worth the price.

It doesn’t outperform the 12w iPad charger by much right?

laugh.gif Same here. My usual practice is to charge till full, unplug and go to bed knowing full well that it’ll last me till the end of next day.

I think it’s overpriced, honestly. But then again, all Apple products are.

Agreed. Rich is one thing. Blindly buying overpriced lousy quality accessory is another. But the usb-c to lightning cable no choice. Must buy back ori Apple. Don’t risk the safety. I am prepared for the end of cable outer layer fraying after 1 year usage.

If any one know any official “made for iPhone” usb-c to lightning cable, with Kevlar interior support and double braided exterior, let me know. Will willingly buy it. It would just be the same price as lousy apple quality cable.

Its fast. Out of my expectation. You can get a powerbank with usb c slot also. Then use apple usb c to lighting. Still faster than normal usb power bank.

I just bought a wireless charger that has fast charging feature but after using it, the speed is just normal. Is it because the power adapter that I use is the original adapter which is only 5w?

Do I need to get the Apple 12w adapter only I can enjoy the fast charging?
