dem... anyone here bought US or HK or any import set and did claim warranty in msia before? All the seller say is international warranty but dunno how true it is..

Heard that HK sets are relatively safe for warranty claims here, US sets are a bit of a hit and miss.

my experience. i sold few hk units, but touch wood no issue at all so have not claim about it.
Still have 1hk unit silver with box only and accidentally closed the threat so lazy to reopen

but i have bought US set from lazada for company cause they need receipt and i can't provide them receipt. That's one unit got issue can't turn on the phone, bring back to apple and without question, not even with receipt, they replace a new unit about 1-2days.
so i dun see any issue. btw we sent to One U apple.

4857 is the new recommended retail price at Machines, MacCity, Switch, etc.

ohh.. that is becos no GST. Currently only import set price is cheaper..

malaysia tax is ridiculous. USD999 = RM4000 at least. where does the extra rm800 come from........

if u dont know apple malaysia not operated by apple, so the distributor here sure earn 1 hand oledi, then give to authorized dealer earn another margin. plus some duties etc etc, and sirim etc all. all i can say is, the margin is super big in malaysia. In US super competitive

not purely becos of tax. It is because of currency too. When it is other currency, Apple’s selling price does not exactly follow the market exchange rate. Same for lion city also.

Got my phone since day 1 it launched and now battery showing maximum capacity of 95%. Normal? How’s yours?
