Lol!
When I'm using Waze, I'd definitely plug-in the power cable.
Don't want to risk low battery when reaching the destination

QUOTE(attw @ Feb 9 2018, 06:55 AM)
Well, I'm quite a light user. Main usage would be WhatsApp and Safari. I've not really had a late night out since using this phone so it remains to be seen whether or not the phone will give me enough juice if I continue using it till late in the night but I think it shouldn't be a problem.

Charging is super slow though. Am using an older 10W iPad charger at the moment and it takes close to two hours from 30 - 40% to full. If slower charging helps preserve the battery health then I'm OK with it. Ha ha...

I guess two hours is quite normal. I usually charge overnight, so the duration doesn’t really bother me. Not planning on getting any fast/wireless chargers?

My usual practice is to charge till full and unplug before I go to bed, used to charge it overnight but heard it might adversely affect the battery health in the long term. No plans for fast chargers at the moment, the idea is to wait and see how expensive AirPower will be first biggrin.gif

But you’re on a 8+ and not X right bro? This upcoming CNY holidays I’m gonna try an experiment to charge my wife’s 8+ and my X to 100% full, unplug at the same time and then see which one discharges faster during usage smile.gif

Apple claims the Iphone X's battery life is better than the Iphone 8+. But I still find that my iphone 7+ battery is better than my current X.

So far I think the standby drain is not as good as my previous 7/8 Plus, but consumption during usage pretty similar.

To share, my boss unit IpX from singtel has ghosting issue or Ghost touch issue as per report laugh.gif .
They do 1-1 exchange (new) after 3 days sent to them. Quite good service i say.

invisible touch. somehow the phone will open apps itself etc. like someone pressing or due to assembly defect that cause some pressure onto the screen, hence causing touches by itself.
