Thanks for the info
I think my card do offer 0.1% cash back. So how do it work?
The zero percent only applicable to certain shop right? If the shop don't have then I subject to 5% for 24 months and 7% for 36 months(upfront not interest). So how it calc and how is it different from interest

Let me share with you my experience.
I think I have this card about 10 years ago. Got it together with my house loan. Since its free for life, loan agent help to submit and I never have any cc yet, I go for it.
I used it for 2 to 3 years. No issue. What bothers me was that every month statement come, I saw a cash rebate of a few cents, 50 cents, rm1 occasionally (0.1%cash back) . One day I got fed up and say "you might as well don't give me any rebate".
That's when I start researching and progressing to ocbc titanium, mbb2card, hlb wise card, pbb visa signature, pbb quantum, MBB ikhwan, MBB Barcelona. All these offer (offered) at least 5% cashback for certain category.
Along the way I "preach" to others around me on this. Heck I even help my family in law to pay the bills and give them back the cashback.
It has become an obsession to track the spending and make sure I use the cashback properly and within limit each month. Not really a good traits but I enjoy it.
There are times when others don't understand why bother. I then asked them how much they have in saving FD (usually not those investor in market share or property), more like that junior in workforce for 2-3 years. For every 2k in FD, you get about rm5 per month. You need 20k in FD to get rm50 per month. What I need to do? Spend rm1k per month (usual spending on needs). And I get back rm50 per month. And that's just one card. I have quite a number. Every year, I save 1k-2.5k.
You would likely find like minded members here. Be a knowledgeable cc user. And though I hated pbb for the gold card, I'm grateful it actually started my journey in cc. And pbb redeemed itself in my mine with visa signature and quantum. Haha.
