Hi guys I can’t find the TnC for the public bank quantum. What’s the minimum cashback transaction? For example Maybank 2 card only will give you cash back if is more than RM1. So if you spend RM20 and above you will then only get the cash back of RM1 else no cash back.
What’s the minimum transaction for public bank? |

QUOTE(joevo2 @ Mar 15 2018, 09:38 PM) Wow you sure? Then this is nice. Was using Maybank 2 card but didn’t realise minimum cash back need to be RM1 Mbb2Card, if your first transaction CB is more than Rm1 then the following transaction cb less than Rm1 also will get CB. Read post 1233 , https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4409607/+1220 Oh right! The RM1 is based on total CB i see thanks! Thanks a lot! Thought it was based on per transaction need to be more than RM1 CB. So as long my CB is more than RM1 for that month. Then I swipe for sundae cone also will get CB la. Thanks a lot sifu! The TnC confuses me. |

I believe my yesterday BT via manual application is also rejected too even though I have more than enough CL. MBB and Maybank Islamic are regulated by BAFIA 1989 and Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 respectively. If you are using Ikhwan cards, I think you can do balance transfer to another islamic bank only. Eg you can transfer your credit limit from Maybank (conventional) to Maybank Islamic (Ikhwan cards) (the conversion form is available), but you cannot convert from Maybank Islamic to Maybank (Conventional), so you need to re-apply at Maybank (Conventional). Similar thing at FD-CASA, Standing instructions to Islamic loan, if I am not wrong. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Mar 16 2018, 12:39 PM |

Similar thing at FD-CASA, Standing instructions to Islamic loan, if I am not wrong. I've cancel my MBB2 cards before and left with their Islamic card. After MBB2 reinstate their benefits I ask them to split the limit back to my new MBB2card without a problem as well. I think MBB doesn't want to risk too much on a individual by giving two sets of credit limits even though islamic & conventional is on a different entity. So by splitting ours credit limit their risk exposure reduces and the chances of approval is higher. This post has been edited by rapple: Mar 16 2018, 12:49 PM |

I'm doing BT from Citibank Visa to Maybank Islamic. If this is forbidden, CS should have tell earlier during the CS and not wasting my time further by submitting a manual BT application. |
