Bank usually will not give 2 separate Credit Limits (one for conventional and another for islamic) as risk doubles. Why not you get Public Bank Visa Infinite & World Mastercard (sharing credit limit with your VS, so no additional risk to PB) instead of applying for another new credit facility from Public Islamic Bank Berhad?
Your existing Credit limit is too low to "add" PB VS.  smile.gif

Should qualify if you are a new PB cardholder.
PB VS doesn't pair with any mastercard so you didn't need to apply for both Visa+Mastercard.

Just wondering, take Visa Signature for example. Annual requirement 80k. Let's say if I have monthly salary sum up to 70k and bonus of 10k. Technically 80k annual income and fullfill the minimum income requirement. While I think it would be case by case basis, but do banks recognize bonus as part of the annual income? I would assume that bank would prefer something more stable like actual salary = 80k without bonus? If my annual income is like that, it probably means lower chance of getting approval?

Just furnish them your Form B / BE. It is your right to apply. And it is their right to approve / reject. We don't know the criteria how they approve / reject. So the only thing we can do if we really want to card is make sure our CCRIS is clean and apply for it. biggrin.gif

That's the purpose of IIBFT.
Actually, it doesn't show only but your CL should have recovered once the transfer accepted.

Use case from Citibank.

usually banks manages and prioritize their resource! if every single transactions need to be reflected in real-time/near real-time, it's be resource intensive and not favorable.

analogy: can you keep refreshing/F5 your browser to see the website changes? can you still use your laptop/pc/phone if you KEEP refreshing it? laugh.gif same thing to bank systems. if they keep refreshing ALL the accounts for ALL transactions, their systems would be overloaded and goes AWOL.

for payment, usually it's reflected immediately. for cc transaction, it would take daily refresh to see it.

one bank that i noticed doesnt reflect payment immediately is UOB. my Instant Transfer to UOB YOLO card doesnt reflect immediately, and UOB only refreshes it at 10pm daily.

for uob, instant transfer is instant fund transfer (fund movement). just that the transaction is NOT REFLECTED instantly in the internet banking (IB) because bank doesnt refresh the accounts frequently.

for UOB, they already captured the fund, just their PIB doesnt update/refresh until 10pm <-- i guess uob is avoiding acct refresh at midnight like most banks do.
