I just wonder, HOW MANY YEARS are u willing to work in foreign countries ??

I think the idea is to save some money & come back to Malaysia.

But , are u willing to accept a job in Malaysia that is much lower pay than ur previous job after u coming back ? (Eg. S$ 3000 vs RM 3200), thats a difference of RM 3000+
Are u willing to do that ? blink.gif

You will only need to come back to Malaysia after you retire if necessary.

Money will not be enough. So I don't see a reason of returning to Malaysia if you have a better pay overseas.

Having spent the last 25 years working, living and starting a family abroad, would you still want to come back to Malaysia to retire?  Assuming you have kids who are still in their teens, would it be feasible to return to Malaysia considering your kids will have to be enrolled in an International School?

It's possible because the money (retirement fund) you have overseas could be 6 times (assuming in UK) the money you have in Malaysia. So it's better to stay in Malaysia in that case.

I agree that if you want to earn more than 5k at age of 28, you should either work in an MNC (Europe or US) or start your own business. Working in local company seldom will give you such opporunity. Cause their currency is higher than ours, RM5k is like low cost labor to them in their country, they are more than willing to pay you that.
