well.. i ain't proud of myself also... low salary..compared with my previous job in US... and my family paid a lot to get me my degree.. so, wat u pay is wat u got..

It's not possible nowadays to get a salary more than 5k now adays in malaysia.
Dont think its imposible.

I'm 24, and i'm making RM6800 a month. I just new in this field, started 6 months ago

I start from RM1600 a month after i'm graduate, 12 months a go. I jump to 6 company. any better offer i grab it. update my resume every job i do. although it very tough at first, always short of money, but it worth it.

I'm in oil and gas, field engineer for local company, working on a vessel, sometimes in platform. spend at least 2 months at sea per job.

but here, mine is among the lowest salary here. let me list few of jobs with nonsense salary, but its real. some of it, u dont even need to go to university and get diploma or phd.

here it is:

Air diver - RM2500 per day
Sat diver - RM6000 per day
ROV pilot tech - USD300 - 700 perday
Surveyor - RM2000 per day.
DP Operator - USD400-600 per day

and if u work more than 5 years or u very good, here ur saary will be.

Diving superintendent - RM10700 per day.
ROV supervisor - USD700-900 perday
Barge Superintendent - USD3000-4000 perday.

and a lot more of jobs that make u work about 30mins a day, then u can rest all u want. but they still pay u on day rate basis.

Like ROV pilot, u work only 30mins a day, then u get up to USD 700 perday. No high qualification, no phD, u know english and take the course, u good to go.

The world is now going crazy, nothing is impossible.
