curlyfries, it really depends on a lot of factors. How your boss helps you is also one factor. There's no strict rules to this and they won't just increase your salary by 3K just because you're recently promoted to a PM eventhough newly hired PM's are like 8K-10K.
In my current company, someone with the same grade as myself can have difference in pay for up to 2.5-3K |

Actually it's true, you don't have to be in Oil and Gas or a specific industry to earn big money and having a Masters or Ph.D doesn't always mean you have the edge (although somehow you do)
As for myself, I'm still working towards that 5 figure and I certainly hope I'll get it before 30. |
