I really admire 1 of my colleagues; he aimed to become a millionaire before the age of 30. And he did it
From guy-on-the-street selling burger then insurance agent, then used cars promoter, then used cars seller then cars importer with other concurrent legal businesses. All those from sheer grit! He told me that he'd stop when he hit 4 mill...but everyone would guess it right....he'll never stop. For all that...he drives a ferrari and has loads of very nice cars and superbikes. I don't make as much but i'm quite contemp with my earning; having less to worry about how to push more cars into market etc etc |

Most companies pay shitty salary here in Malaysia. That's why I hope to get a decent job in Australia, the minimum salary of what I'm doing here currently in OZ is AUD7k a month.

Mind you, it's not because employers in Malaysia can't afford it - it's just that they refuse to pay decent salaries and wages to employees. |

Actually, it's more profits for their new bungalow renovations or their brand new Brabus.The disparity in income between CEO types and the grunts have never been greater in Malaysia. |

One of my friend escaped from harsh KL white collar lifestyle to England and earn GBP £3,000 (RM20,000) per month now as an engineer. It's easy. Just go UK. RM5k is really nothing nowadays.

@weehoi,
You cant really convert in order to make comparison cause a simple nasi goreng will cost you RM32. However, you can state that £3,000 can buy a whole lot more things than RM3000. Rental and public transportation cost in London if compared dollar-per-dollar is almost the same as KL. It's just that other things like groceries, broadband, mobile phone bills, electricity, cable TV, clothing, travel and etc are more affordable there. And they're complaining about having to pay £200 a year for electricity. Pfft some of us even pay that amount a month! Added on July 3, 2008, 7:54 am@robertngo It's easier than you think This post has been edited by Syd G: Jul 3 2008, 07:54 AM |

Hahahaahah After two years of earning in £, you can apply to transfer to General Highly Skilled Migrant class. It will be so much easier for you to meet the income requirement compared to when you're applying in Malaysia. Am doin it next year Added on July 3, 2008, 8:16 amBtw, MBA requirement in HSMP is not valid anymore since HSMP is dead and gone now. Try the new calculator : http://workpermit.com/uk/uk-immigration-ti...-calculator.htm and the post-study work calculator http://workpermit.com/uk/uk-immigration-ti...-study-work.htm This post has been edited by Syd G: Jul 3 2008, 08:16 AM |
