anyone else experiencing slow demo dload speeds this past 2 weeks? i went from 500MB overnight to barely 70MB dloaded overnight  is streamyx messing with me cos i'm late with my payments? |

^ if their servers having load problems, sometimes we get "Xbox Live Marketplace is currently unavailable. Please check back later".. message.
one thing can try, go to the HDD and "systems items", delete the marketplace file size ~600KB. reboot 360, go to network test page. if successful, then login and try the marketplace blade again. bioS demo quite large filesize, good luck

Bioshock Demo i wonder what's next? non-official countries are not welcomed to enjoy free gore & violence content!?  |

some DLC are IP-restricted. if you can setup the PC using a proxy and use proxy IPs originating from SGP/US and then use internet connection sharing to connect the 360 to PC, then it SHOULD work  |

^ i think all asian prepaid card should function the same regardless of country, HK/SGP/TWN
P-A business model is something like hypermarket, they can offer discounts on certain items due to bulk rates while some other items they mark-up higher.
due to our current exchange rate, xbox360 stuff is cheaper if bought in HK dollars rather than SGP dollars.

^ huh? i dunno how to setup proxy, i just read on other forums (i forgot where - poster from Australia use an US proxy) such a suggestion might work. anyway, streamyx is not allowing me to access XBL for few days already. no more d/loading demos for me |

yesterday night, i queued up some BG downloading stuff and powered it down. the mandatory update must have come up at midnight and the BG downloading auto-stop by itself. open this morning and nothing was downloaded  |

wondering if others have problems/success recovering profile/gamertag from XBL using streamyx? i have open NAT, decent XBL demo d/load speed but i can NEVER recover my profile no matter what IP i try. it will always TIMEOUT while recovering  |

i don't mind waiting, even if the 4MB profile takes overnight, i can just leave it.
right now, the problem is time-out halfway. i babysit it last night with 4 different IPs with no success.
demos and videos d/load fine. werid eh? they use different servers for profiles and gamertags?

ok, mb i try again when they upgrade their dashboard soon ironic cos i can create a new XBL silver gamertag just fine in 5 minutes, but recovering an old GT will always timeout  |

phew, just when i abt to give up after half day trying, i recovered my profile back - 3MB IP which worked - 60.52.73.XXX around 8pm (i guess this time the US servers are less congested) |
