Needing 3 chats to request for VoLTE activation and to wait 72 hours (and still counting) but still no VoLTE....

I opened 1 ticket... marked "resolved" without even resolved. So I used live chat instead.

It's already 2022 and 3G had already shut down for such long time, it is baffling that VoLTE still need to be "begged" for laugh.gif

Has anyone experienced it that changing to esim from physical SIM (or vice versa) means have to request CS to reactivate VoLTE again?

From my experience..

With yoodo, voLTE will go off if line gets inactive.

With maxis, after replace sim, had to call to get voLTE enabled.

Only digi, the SIM seems to come with volte enabled by default.

Was happy just now VoLTE finally activated on my number and working on a non-endorsed phone using physical SIM. Then quickly switched to eSIM but VoLTE stopped working.

Based on experience, yes.

And after activation, VoLTE stayed on even during grace period.

VoLTE tested/ working on other phone?

Used Pixel 7 with Yoodo VoLTE before BUT if VoLTE not activated for the Yoodo line, you need to call CS to activate it with your SIM in a "supported phone" first.

The narrative given was their technical team, at the point of activating VoLTE on their side, must see/ detect you are using a "supported" phone. And networks can see/ detect what your phone model is connected to their network.

Once it is activated, you can use the same SIM card with "non-supported" phones, if the firmware has been updated to support Celcom VoLTE profile.

Of all the networks I tried on my P7, Digi was automatic VoLTE-enabled without having to call CS. Just restart the phone after inserting SIM card/ installing eSIM. Even unifi mobile supported VoLTE on P7 the last i tried in August/ September without having to call CS.

So, no more deadline for Yoodo to be divested? Thought people said 18 months and it will be April 2024?
