I just subscribed to yoodo unlimited data 3-4 days ago n used it on my modified wifi lte 4g dongle / portable modem...why it uses my hotspot instead of the internet data ? Now all hot spots finish.
But they say can use in router, portable modem! Currently my INTERNET totally canNOT connect..kept saying NO INTERNET on my laptop.

"it is well known simcard on modem is considered as hotspot", OK...then what's this D Link's DWR-M93O? Or tons of these modified unlocked LTE CPE RS860, TL MR6400, etc the likes.
Since you sound to be an expert maybe shed some light if all these are only for hotspots ? Coz what l came across is that these gadgets were keyworded as '' modified unlocked unlimited modem router wifi bypass hotspot'' in no particular wording order, etc...in their ads.

I have been using TM's line for over a decade n never changed to others till now...and lately went online to find a modem router and found many sellers tagging stuff like 'WiFi modem router dongle BYPASS hotspot modified unlimited data' etc...l was learning my ropes as a noob....and queried the seller that is it true the modified unlocked dongle WiFi modem can BYPASS HOTSPOT AND DIRECT USE the INTERNET DATA..n he claimed to be so both in the description n chat....then that's where I bought the dongle. My first experience. I was given the impression it was home router modem LITE. Now I have to buy another new one. There.

If you subscribe to 100GB plan, feel free to use ALL of the data via modem/hotspot, no one will stop you

BUT

unlimited plan, modem = hotspot!
so, it will take from HOTSPOT quota

Unlimited data is exclusively for use on PHONE only
