I top-up on 2nd day of introducing the promo in December.
I got Boosted, but until today nothing in from Yoodo itself.

And if my understanding is correct, Yoodo promised to gift RM5 for the first few top-up in EVERY MONTH. I don't know if top-up within the first hour after midnight Malaysian time still does not qualify for it.

Boost really paid.
But Yoodo certainly is empty promises until today.

No need to pay double or in advance. Celcom, Maxis, Digi.
Just need to make sure all outstanding at the point of MNP per your bill is settled, not owing anything. Next month, check your final bill. No need to go through hassle of asking for refund pulak which will be dealt with only after few months.

The only exception I experienced is with Digi is when you terminate (not MNP), where they'll ask you to pay the terminated rateplan in advance (e.g if you're terminating plan 80, then have to pay RM80 in advance).

because Yoodo is MVNO.
But somehow have lenient terms and favourable wholesale rate as it is part of Celcom itself, compared against other 3rd-party MVNOs. So how can 3rd-party fought toe-to-toe when Yoodo have cost advantage over them.

So to be fair to all those other MVNOs, Yoodo have to be sold off. MNO to stay MNO.

Hmmm... what about the other digital MVNO direct under Digi, what was the name.... TAP(?)

Celcom-Digi is given 18mths AFTER MERGER COMPLETED to sell off Yoodo.

Not immediately shutdown.

Merger also haven't completed. Chill lah.

(1) sell off the whole of YOODO AFTER MERGER IS COMPLETED or CLOSE IT DOWN for good if cannot sell.

(2) cannot revive the brand at all.

I expect rateplan upward pricing when they sold off:
right now I am assuming Yoodo is getting unfair wholesale pricing as itself is a part of Celcom.

Other MVNOs under Celcom probably bitching cannot compete toe-to-toe on pricing. This probably main reason why SKMM insists to sell off or suicide; to maintain healthy competition and consumer options in MVNO space.

Maxis used to have OOKYO (remaining subscribers default force-absorbed into Hotlink)
Digi still have TAPP.

I think Yoodo became a trouble point due its successful business model, large-enough customer base, and unfair interruptive cost competition against Celcom's other 3rd-parties MVNO to attract divestment directive.

TLDR; sell off your profitable and proven-successful business model to -ekhem-.
to make sure you are serious to do so: you are not allowed to keep the unit, not allowed to absorb its customers, and not allowed to revive the unit again (don't kacau the new buyer's business lah).

I'm on iPhone's latest.

There are only Paypal and ccard option for stored Manage Payment.

TnG eWallet and Boost are options under Top Up.

My uneducated guess: eWallet and Boost cannot handle auto deduct, unlike PayPal and ccard. Yoodo need auto deduct for auto renewal (in case pre-existing balance is not enough?)

Spam filtering is mailbox "fault".
Spam filtering is client-side action.
Even using SPF, DKIM, etc can still go into spam.
You are blaming sender but it's your postman who trashed the mail disregarding stamp of authenticity over it.

I guess AWS, Amazon, Microsoft, Google are all unprofessional as they all use email for confirmation.

IINM, those add-ons are for mobile use. If desktop, it would use different server IP.

There was explanation a year or 2 ago.

different platform (app, mobile, desktop) uses different backend servers - different IPs.
Those add-ons are for use with official mobile apps, pre-determined set of backend IPs.

Any other backend IPs that does not match those pre-determined set, off course will draw from the general data bucket.

Those quota add-ons for <whatever> have preset list of parameters to identify such usage of <whatever> through predetermined apps of <whatever>.

That usually means through official apps.

So if you use other than official apps - as an example -, you will use quota for general internet, not from those <whatever> add-ons.
