First of all, Yoodo is not a MVNO. It is the sub brand of Celcom, just like Xpax for its prepaid brand, Ookyo and Hotlink as a sub brand of Maxis and Tapp a sub brand of Digi.

RedOne and TuneTalk are the examples of MVNO.

Other than the cheap call rate, what use is this new celcom subbrand?
Looks like the data is expensive as hell.
Anything that can give Like tune talk rm38/mth =18 gb of data?

Personally, I prefer MNO's own service. I also like the simplicity of their a la carte packages. Just subscribe what I need, no BS.☺️

Anyone got slow internet speed with yoodo? My download speed is < 5Mbps, upload speed is < 10Mbps.

I think it's depends on the location. So far I don't have any problem with the speed. Not fast but acceptable for me. smile.gif

I give up on yoodo, is really half baked product, most of their offer number is GONE and they can't tell you straight, number is not available but go for Card update, Face UPDATE (they don't know how difficult to get the face right),  force us to add payment card (this another fault, is not add payment card as they claim, is MAKING payment, lucky I use paypal)
*
I don't think you need to worry much. Actually, Yoodo uses Braintree as their payment processor. It means, Yoodo do not process and save customers' payment information on their own server, all info are stored on Braintree. For your information, Braintree is the division of PayPal itself.

Both Braintree and PayPal are safe to use. Although if I am not mistaken, there's one (or maybe several, I don't know) case that PayPal server has been compromised.

So at the end of the day, no need to worry much la emkay, life is too short to worry about little things. wink.gif

is not only that, that way too manything to consider, for example: if i lost my phone or simcard broke, how long i need to get my simcard back (my order experience ain't good)? if i click on some button and it straight go to payment (my paypal is one click payment), that will be scary, if i like to check my info, detail, usage online but result is outdated, how bad could it be ?

i have no issue with paypal, just no yoodo base on my experience (i play with the apps for few hour (trying active my sim), i can see there is some bug in the system and a lot logic issue (sorry my job), when front end is not right, how far u think backend can go ? ).

sorry mate.

Yes, this one I agree with you. Part of they are everything online makes me decided to only use them as a backup while my main number stay with their parent plan which is Celcom First. I don't think if my phone is lost I have to wait so long for my new sim card to arrive. Now I only use them as a second number, their internet plan is affordable for my usage, with RM20 for 20GB some more.😅

Also, agree with the bug part. Makes me think that Yoodo is just one of side project from Celcom to attract new customers and retain the old one on their network.

Same goes to TuneTalk. Low priority when it comes to traffic.

TuneTalk is not part of Celcom. Yoodo is a sub brand of Celcom, under one company.

How's the speed? >5Mbps? Can stream YouTube 720p smoothly?
*
Sorry, can't share the speedtest, but yes it's over 5Mbps and yes I can stream YouTube and any other streaming services smoothly. smile.gif

I don't have any problem using Yoodo. Even if they prioritise the Celcom network, I totally understand because they also need to cater their flagship customers.
