what's the difference between Spark RM25 40gb versus CelcomDigi NX25? i see NX25 written 100mbps(40gb). not sure if Spark also 100mbps? i'm currently on hotlink pantas rm25 15gb.

Confused lol
In new app existing customers can apply for replacement physical sim, but new sign up of new app spark service is esim only?

As we know only selection of Chinese phone which is global rom support esim (including Xiaomi/poco)
*
I think existing Yoodo users can keep their physical SIM card or switch to eSIM.
New users who want to switch to Spark can only choose eSIM.

Currently they are having promotion with 5GB extra and RM5 off. IMO, the most value for money is the RM15 14GB 100minutes plan.

No MNP (number porting) available for now. I don't think it is the right time to switch for now. I am not sure whether it inherits the same issue as the old Yoodo and Celcom MVNOs, where there are no IPv6 available and streaming service (not that important if u only have 14GB) get deprioritized after 8pm

Planning to test with new number for a month first. see how's the coverage in areas/buildings that i frequent daily. one particular building i frequent daily for groceries, even hotlink showing no bar. i just wonder if Spark and CelcomDigi coverage pretty much same or not.

4g yes, i just activate new esim for s25, most of time carrier display is MY CelcomDigi (only occasionally switch to yoodo back and forth)

however i cannot activate google RCS anymore, will stuck on connecting status forever (asked email cs because want reactivate volte, they said no support RCS anymore)

as for 5g, unfortunately due to DNB, some place 5g can be very slow or unusable

DNB 5G problem can only be substitute when U Mobile almost fully built up its 5G network and more users are switching to their networks or who knows CelcomDigi or Maxis will also rent part of their infrastructure haha

It is a pretty good deal anyway if it works well for u (RM25 vs RM15). Saving RM120 per year, and telco tend to extend promotion usually unless telco merger is going on where market become less competitive

I wonder whats the difference between the base plan Spark Standard - Best Seller (RM25 for 40gb/100mins/5G) vs Limited Time - High Speed (RM25 for 45gb/100mins/5G) other than the extra 5Gb?
The High Speed plan doesnt say anything about period of validity too

And if I opt not to change anything and stick to my previous Yoodo plan, do I still get the RM5 monthly rebate?

I’m using Yoodo for my main line with only RM5 per month for 100min.

Now that Spark has minimum RM15 on the package with no standalone minutes only monthly plan.

What is the next option available?

I saw in Digi there is BOS, RM3 unlimited calls per month but I think it depends on the account whether will get the offer or not. Plus if I migrate to Digi there’s no guarantee I will get same offer.

Thanks very sad Yoodo is no more 🥲🥲

Same predicament here. Have 5 lines under Yoodo and some maintained under RM3/mth SMS only plan.

Once I change to the plan for data use, I cannot change back to RM3/mth.

Yoodo will be forever missed. cry.gif

Previously they used to give bonus data e.g. 10GB but I get 35GB data. Is that now gone if I maintain my current plan?
*
I purchase the 10GB data plan (get 35GB with extra 20GB for 5G) no Call and SMS for RM18 so from what I knew per SoyaCincau you can maintain your current plan from Yoodo days as long as your auto renew was on. Time to topup my wallet since my current plan will renew next week.
