Not Biru Nor Kuning. Both also BUKAN!

It's your Yoodo existing plan will be shown on CelcomDigi. Let's say you are on UNLIMITED 3Mbps plan, you pay the same price, but this time to CelcomDigi directly. Not Yoodo anymore.

* This and reminder, THIS PLAN will EXIST until CelcomDigi could later amend it's plan for Yoodo users. Then it will change after that.
*
So no more "customized plan" if continue stay with Yoodo and migrate to celcomdigi will be happening automatically?
those Yoodo plans will become lagacy plan and need to download celcom app instead to track the usage later?

Still, I wonder what happened to all the preconditions of no absorbing current yoodoo users before they merge?

Is it because they now are known as Celcom Digi, that condition is no longer applies to them?

Corporate and their business tactics are confusing.

It seems like Digi wanted that piece of pie that is Yoodoo users and not directly but to bring it into their new entity as CelcomDigi.

No.. it applies.. they give the option to the user

You can port out, or terminate or it will be auto ported..

You are not forced to enter CelcomDigi

You are free to port out

It sounds like you can still customised your plan in the yoodo app.
They only mentioned disabling new sim/registration and customised validity extension.

If you want to keep your number you are forced to port out

But you are not forced to port out to CelcomDigi

You can port out to any telco

The only way you will end up with CelcomDigi is.. if you do not port out to any telco by the day Yoodo closes

Yes, no more, you go no other option but just to stick to the plan. That's it. Unless you find CelcomDigi plan more tempting and switch/port to their ongoing plan.

Previously MCMC say they cannot absorb Yoodo users to CelcomDigi. Why now can? I think with a condition that, Yoodo users to maintain the legacy plan only. And if you want to switch to ongoing CelcomDigi plan, then have to port in using CD Sim-Card

I used BeOne in the past, such a bother, every 30 days got to top up and then have to subscribe to unlimited calls. None of these steps can automate or auto debit. I think it will die off slowly. It's sub brand of OneXox.
*
A sub-brand of another MVNO. Later want to topup also hard to find as not well known brand.

QUOTE(PRSXFENG @ Jun 14 2024, 01:54 PM)
I think your best options are either

Yes Prepaid FT5G 20
RM20
50gb data, can hotspot, all calls, data rollover

or

TuneTalk EpikCall20
also RM20
10GB (video capped at 360p)
unlimited calls
unlimited wechat/whatsapp/google maps
if you had asked a week or 2 ago, tunetalk was the only option
but now Yes launched this very competitive plan
*
But on Yes, if your area have week/no 4g you will cry trying to make calls.

As part of the CelcomDigi merger undertaking committed to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), we will be discontinuing the Yoodo brand after 29 Aug 2024.

Starting 19 June 2024,these functions will be disabled from the Yoodo app:

New SIM Order (except replacement SIM)
New SIM Activation (except replacement SIM)
Account Registration
Invite Friends
Customised Validity Extension
You now have an option to:

Port out to a mobile operator of your choice, or
Terminate your Yoodo service, or
Continue your existing plan with CelcomDigi.
Please be assured you will continue to enjoy your existing service (data, voice and SMS) without any interruptions.
*
This is still very confusing. Does it mean I can still customise my plan? What happen with the rm12 monthly for unlimited call, will it still renew? Will the Yoodo app shut down and all have to manage using the Celcom app?

I believe yoodo app will be rebrand with celcomdigi branding only. With some functions related to new number register removed. But can still manage existing number and subscription related

So for now no migration to celcomlife or my Digi. But eventually there will be a new unified app to manage 3 former brands but will take some years

Another question is
If I do nothing after Aug 2024, my plan can still continue with CelcomDigi, but is it possible to top up credit and continue to enjoy the Yoodo lagacy plan ?
I've been using Yoodo for voice only plan for years already.
