I give up on yoodo, is really half baked product, most of their offer number is GONE and they can't tell you straight, number is not available but go for Card update, Face UPDATE (they don't know how difficult to get the face right),  force us to add payment card (this another fault, is not add payment card as they claim, is MAKING payment, lucky I use paypal)

Think twice before porting in to Yoodo
The network in penang is extremely bad.
Livechat and technical team not able to provide any constructive feedback.

zhlo What I'm afraid of is that the phone may run background applications, thus am not sure will this affect the internet speed when doing tethering. That's why am leaning on modem.

Prefer a smartphone as main purpose is for tethering (but may ocassionally use it for waze and some whatsapp). Any recommendations? Thanks.

Don't forget, in order to eligible for purchasing an add on data, you need to subscribe the main data plan. The lowest 2Gb cost Rm12. After that you can only purchase the add on data.

I buy RM 3 sms , I can add on 150gb ... You all can't. Hahaha..

This month only got RM38 booster for 62GB.

Too much for me, and it will only make the data congestion worse if everyone has 62GB to spam.

RM38 for 62GB is not really ideal for me. My wife only needed 10GB every month. Right now Yoodo 10GB is at RM35 which is high. If RM25 then ok.

My best prepaid is TT. Every month reload RM30 for free 13GB high speed internet. LOL...after one year, will subscribe to monthly 10GB for RM17 per month.

The Roam Like Home feature is quite nice. Currently using in China. But due to cost, it only makes sense to use for a few days and then buy the SIM card in country instead. Oh well but it works well. At 10 RM/day (discount), it's not that bad.
