Don't worry, you won't be able to tick pubg anyway if you don't subscribe data plan. That's how it works.Yoodo, New MVNO with customizable plans

QUOTE(neuro4869 @ Feb 9 2019, 10:14 PM) Ok just got ported in, even on Saturday. But the speed is quite bad, especially for upload when tested on speedtest. Nowadays it's just better to buy a new sim and test the line first before porting to avoid disappointment. I would have stayed with Maxis since they did a pretty interesting counter offer but I did the test on a new sim and wasn't going to give up on the speed vs some freebies. |

QUOTE(MakNok @ Feb 25 2019, 08:50 PM) I ok with the reported post. Haha... chill broIt their right after all. And also my right for telling the spade is a spade. Yoodo nowadays lose their spark eversince no more promo. And also seriously congested network as well. Well..as long your location have no such problem....ok lo..continue using.. For now YES give better speed in my place.. Some are Yoofags if you know what I mean. I think I'm looking to port out to Tune too but I can't find Yoodo when I'm using their app. I really want to port out my 2nd line that I only use for gaming since Tune had 3gb offer for mnp and RM200 for monthly 10gb for a year. Since they both ride on Celcom, I guess that should be fine for me since I only needed good ping not speed. |

QUOTE(MakNok @ Feb 28 2019, 05:10 PM) Yoodo Fanboy mostly given free credit from Yoodo lo... I won't say Yoodo is getting congested because the speed is still respectable. The only problem with Yoodo is that some local website took a long time to load. Thestar, soyacincau are among the site I browse daily and it took forever to load.die die will say Yoodo good even though it suckkk now.. Only viable ..call and sms still gooding.. But Data offer getting worse or network start to congested already... Even Tunetalk much better speed. |

QUOTE(MakNok @ Mar 1 2019, 09:10 AM) if local website take forever to load....what does that tell you.. So far only soyacincau and thestar. Others are fine. Yoodo is a shit even though it is own by Celcom themselve. Yoodo speed should be as good as Celcom... What the fak hapening here...? Celcom trying to kill Yoodo.....that will be very silly indeed. I still feel yoodo is better due to better ping for my gaming. |

Now ok already. I think they restart the crashed servers.
Just checked my quota. I think they revert to backup data from 2 days ago. Suddenly I get 17gb whereas I left 14gb yesterday. This post has been edited by andrekua2: Mar 18 2019, 10:02 AM |

QUOTE(BacktoBasics @ Mar 27 2019, 11:59 PM) Yes, if normal browsing, data usage is higher due to data block calculation. I find that for streaming YouTube, it's not much difference. For normal stuffs such as lyn, shopping app, data usage is a serious concern. 2gb is not enough. |

QUOTE(wyh @ Apr 3 2019, 08:37 AM) yoodo data plans are good pricing at the moment but i tried yoodo at my area... Just request to port out my main line to Tunetalk. Interested to try TT since they offer 3gb/month for mnp. Still keep my wife and gaming line with yoodo since it's proven. Also wanted to avoid the blackout that happened few weeks ago.day - performs better than ookyo(maxis) night - yoodoo (celcom) congestion is bad worst, ookyo(maxis) still able to perform |

QUOTE(kwokwah @ Apr 6 2019, 10:15 AM) Should there be any speed difference among Celcom, tune talk and yoodo since they are all operating from the same cell tower? Personally there could be in my opinion. If they were same, I don't think it will show yoodo, instead of celcom. I think the business style of yoodo is not much different from postpaid, ie, whatever you paid is not carried forward next month. This in itself deter quite a lot of prepaid users from mnp. For those who went to yoodo are mostly postpaid users who are fed up with the plan and fixed monthly charges while not utilising much of what was provided in the plan. I think if there it's an increase of users, it will show in the speed. For now, I don't think the number of users is a concern just yet. One of the reason it still lose out to prepaid is the payment method. If they would allow topping up from 7E, I think it would increase the number of users, which might then affect the network performance. |

QUOTE(powerwoot @ Apr 6 2019, 02:54 PM) for each of the test, not much different as I can see. Sometime celcom and sometime yoodo in the lead, overall it just a small gap of differences. Unless someone trying very hard to prove that yoodo is treated as a 3rd class and celcom secretly discriminate the network performance between them 😁 I think it's too early to tell but if you're saying there will be no limit to yoodo network utilisation rate, I would disagree. I think there would be a reserved capacity for celcom base subscribers, ie 50% network load while the rest is being rent out or shared amongst xpax, yoodo and tt to maximise revenues. |

QUOTE(ngyinchew @ Apr 8 2019, 07:47 PM) Don't know... kick here n there. I want to try TT since they promo free 10gb for mnp. Actually I still got 2 lines in yoodo but think to play safe and get one out of yoodo to avoid the complete collapse the other day. |

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Apr 9 2019, 03:45 PM) Since MNP implementation, my main line was porting hassle-free from Celcom-Umobile-XOX-Yoodo, including my family lines. That's because the reason given is a head scratcher. All need to do is follow the guidelines and consult with CS in case got rejected strangely. I snapped my ic when registering for yoodo. I also snapped my ic when registering with TT. However I'm being told nric did not match. How? I never even key in a single number, all is done via photo. That also cannot match. How? |
