i'm  used to play this in Vietnam for a while ago, It's been nearly 4 years i 've thinking of this mini 4wd stuff. Thanks Echicken lead me to this site. I'd like to see more races from you guys.
I'm in USA now... the mini4wd is dead here for a long time. I don't know in California if they still play this, most of them play RC now.

hahah too bad i am not there cos i like to play this kind of track cos u cant jump too far or too near all about timing of the jump.

yeah cos u need to jump 3pcs for the double hump but 2 pcs for the double jump section .

if able to clear then the timing would be 24+sec.. lolx

Hello, i am new to this forum, but i'm an old skool in mini 4wd/3wd/2wd series.

First of all, i would like to CONGRATULATE to all the mini 4wd fans here for their interest and the ability to sustain and maintain this hobbies.

I'm from Ipoh actually, i get addicted to this hobbies when i was watching the Dash Yokuro cartoon, guess some old skool should know this cartoon huh?

anyway, this hobbies extinct pretty(normal in Ipoh, many hobbies dies fast due to no facilities and stocks)
Anyway,i would like to know where can i get stuff as the following pictures in KL;







i used to admire theOkami but didnt get a chance to own one, i hope all the new master and old skool hobbies enthusiast can help me on this.

BTW, i'll try to post my only survived mini2wd car ASAP. please b patience.

for me, Tamiya mini 4WD indeed the real thing to race. those Ai Yu, Okami, and etc cars were just meant for High Speed Track.

I used to play Tamiya, for me, Tamiya indeed required a lot of understanding towards the realiti of how everything counts in this so called "toys", from weights, aero dynamics, rollers setup and etc.

i have both interest in Tamiya and Caplang Brand(A&Y, Okami) i used to own a lot of Tamiya Cars, but since i dont have the track, so, i end up collecting them. So, now i'm interested to collect these Capland Brand cars for their designs as i used to own Tamiya cars.

So, i wish if anyone could willingly to help me on this. Any shop recommendation will do, if possible, i would like to buy a track, i know Tamiya tracks used to cost RM600 (in 1999) but, now? i rili hv no idea, i hardly find these tracks in Ipoh, ToyCity also have closed their 4wd tracks(heard they send back to KL due to un-popularity in Ipoh)

Yeah, very technical track. Thanks! Congrats to Lawrence too! To get in first place at the first trial.

After posted the link for few days, I only received comments from Allen. I am not sure about whether they think the track set-up too easy, they're too good enough and not attractive at all, or I do not speak the same language? It seems like they're just interested to entertain their own mini4wd.

So far, I only see 2-3 racers who're really interested about mini4wd.  I hardly can find someone who're interested to learn about mini4wd nowadays.

wow.. i just discover this thread.. i'm also a tamiya racer till now still got my car under my bed.. no more time to play.. busy on study and now i'm on my interm@practical training.. me from seremban.. b4 this can play at centre point(ampangan).. but now long time dint go.. dont know whether the track still exist anymore..
so, u all race using original tamiya engine or modded one? me got one modded that has cost me nearly rm100.. got 2 plasma dash for official race..
