I think if u take more potraits of pretty grils from models, PC fair and motorshow then our sifus will be much appreciate to review yr pics

Kidding. But somehow i felt ur pics are average. Add some creative by looking for inspiration from those prof's pics.

i am just realize why my camera cant take a good pictures.. for example, at night, when i set the ISO to 200/400, with shutter speed of 1/4 or 1/2, then, i captured some blurry pictures... is it tripod really important? and impossible i carry tripod to whenever i go mah... sometimes, the mego ois modes are confusing me.. dunno ah, thought wan to buy DSLR, but, no money and it is bulky..

No need SLR.

This taken at ISO 100, speed 1/6. No IS/VR mode.
Tripod is a must for low-speed/light conditions.
Pix not very sharp, but with a small PnS, I'm not complaining.

wow, you used ISO 100 also can capture a very nice picture huh... then, when taking pictures in the indoor, like in a dinner, it will be quite troublesome to carry the tripod around lo... any suggestion? do you have any website that tells about ISO, shutter speed, and aperture? thanks..

picture 3..total dapao..total blured..at first i thought it was a monkey..but monkey never sit like that unless they are dead on the tree..lol

picture 12 could be better if you lose the lamp post..its very distracting..

picture 8 also you should lose the kid..and next time jus take the cave ceiling..it will be nicer..

and not all photog here just care about portrait or girls..there s also do care about abstract and wandering pictures..

yeah, these are the comments that i wanted from all of you... i really need you all to comment more so that i can capture a better picture... i really feel my pictures are not quality after saw a lot of nice pictures capture by sifus... i am wondering why their pics so nice and sharp...

cheapest DSLR is 350D, which cost around RM3k, it is very costly leh.. i am just came out to work... i know some people who like protographing also.. but, sad case is i dun have a super gear to shoot nice pictures.. haha..

lol..and you should open your own thread instead of hijacking ppls one..

but anyway..i can only see one picture here..and its very very noisy..

just like my Kuala Sepetang pics.

since you was wandering how those other ppls pictures are nice and sharp mah..
so dslr is the answer lo..

haiz... sob sob.. wish can get dslr very soon and learn photographing.. many things that i like, like audio and photographing.. but, both also killing.. haha

Hey, if dSLR unit is way too expensive for u now, why dun u just get a prosumer camera first? i dunno much about this category, but some model like S3IS or Panasonic Lumix a really good and just cost around RM1+ k...

but really, a dSLR unit will drives u to places to get pictures, but if u want to learn photography, try a prosumer first, then after u have saved some more, sell it off and buy a dSLR. But saving a little bit more u can get a dSLR straight away.. Both are good option in my opinion..
