i wonder why need to go all the way to US and back when the shield is Taiwan product. We have to pay all that stupid amazon shipping, handling and US import duty (they're waived this time during prime day) but then still.

how much would the shield end up costing if you buy from US Amazon website? i mean is the price you pay on the website the total price? or do you need to allow some money for extra taxes? and is this the case for any items you order from amazon us website? or is it depend on price? or type of item you order?

Have u called DHL customer service? They will give u the contact no of the person handling your case. You apply for appeal if they say need permit. Hopefully all good

For tax usually Amazon will request upfront one. For my case it say didn't have any tax. SIRIM is a diff case tho. We need to pay on top and provide them with slip or receive for DHL to do clearance

im use it mostly for watch streaming movie from my own movie server and games

for astro-go, wat i did last time is install google keyboard and google chrome. after that u can open the apps, enter the login id, then can watch already.

unifi play apps also seem ok , no issue except it show on potrait instead of landscape. both astro-go and unifi tv. tried few orientation apps, didnt work. so i just ignore it since the potrait is on the menu, once streaming, it will show landscape.
