Late last week, a member of our team tried to increase participation in our contest by posting an entry herself. She then made the mistake of announcing herself as the winner without realising there were other eligible entries.
This is unprofessional, and I am disappointed and sincerely sorry for our team’s mistake. I know this is a sensitive issue and we never meant to take away the prize opportunity from anyone.
We will employ stricter social media policies and training to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We will definitely take your feedback into account for our next contest and improve on our offerings.

My feedback
1. in business, accept the fact that mistake will be done someday and that's not the end of the day and it's impossible to please 100%, naysayers or competitors will always be there to bottom feed and shoot you down whenever permissible, evidently here, worse still is they are not even your customers that give you nightmare.
2. your approach to divert traffic from competing sites, like this forum, is not a good strategy to begin with. You should work on another area of monetization, corporate branding is a whole new niche you should dwell more on.
3. don't skimp on marketing fund, reward the hardworking staffs/contributors and those with ideas. When you already well known, being cheapskate is a timebomb, especially among your staffs. No employees will be happy working with the stingy boss, inb4 not saying you are cause i don't know you.
My suggestion for your site:
1. allow sellers to disable chat or mention call seller direct only. Not all sellers like to waste time answering "is it still available". If they cannot afford to spend 10c to make a phone call, they are not qualified as a buyer, simple logic. Its a pain in arse selling in carousell if you asked me.
