Not sure if this sounds racist or not but seriously, their english really hard to understand. Ive been talking to them for over 20 minits, i had to say "excuse me?" numerous times πŸ˜‘

And this is not the 1st time.

Was trying out norton mobile security. Got web protection feature. So I tried to test with this site http://www.amtso.org/check-desktop-phishing-page . Didnt block. I tried another feature called link guard. Its suppose to scan links that is not from the browser, like email. That manage to block.

At 1st talked with their rep regarding this through online chat. Afterwards they called me to get further information.

Some nonsense response from them

1) why i want to block the site?
Defaq, its not that I WANT to block it, that is a site to test, so should be blocked by default.

2) he said the site is not categorized as a threat by norton
I said srriously? If its not flagged, why their link guard manage to block. Even in chrome it block the site.

So i said obviously their app have issues with samsung internet browser. But asked me to reinstall the app. I lazy i just said ok ok.

Many years ago I wanted to arrange for a tour during my trip to India.
Called up a local travel agency and I swear all I heard the guy say was "poppadum poppadum poppadum"

I used to work at a credit card call center that supports the Australia, New Zealand and USA market during the off hours of their local office. Never received any complaints that our local representatives were difficult to understand.

Just a matter of hiring the right people.

There was once a customer was so relief that she was directed to our center instead of India.

My experience with call centers from india hasnt been that bad (in language dept only, actual TS is 2 x 5)

For me callcenter in phillipines is worst

They speak really fast, but I'm getting the hang of it. Sometimes I just understand a few words and connect the sentence on my own.

Last time when I was in Uni, had a lecturer from Southern India for a semester of 14 weeks. The only thing I understood was when he counted 1,2,3... and mentioning washing machine as an example.

But the other marketing lecturer from India turned out fine with his American accent because he got his tertiary education from the States.

I called once to change my hotel reservation date that I made on Expedia, it got routed to one of these call centers. Very thick Indian accent.

In the end, I couldn't change the date because I had to fork out twice the price of my room for that doh.gif

I 1st contact them thru chat. That time no problem. But since they cant resolve it there, their senior tech called me. And they are really persistent. Apparently i found a serious bug in their app. Yesterday night they called me again and ask permission to do remote.

So they controlled my phone from there to try find the cause of the problem. Lasted till 4am. Still cant resolve. So they escalated the matter to their engineer.
