Hi, my brother went for a check up in Wellness Lab. The result for Helicobacter Pylori (H Pylori) show "Weak Reactive". Any good clinic to recommend to further treat this?

blood test or urea breath test?
if blood test then it means that previously infected and given treatment or currently infected if breath test means currently infected. .......... go to any general practitioner for eradication therapy ( 3 meds for up to 14 days) especially if symptomatic of gastritis. but if previously already treated for it and this is the result of blood test...............it means nothing actually........blood test for h pylori is not a good followup for previously treated h pylori This post has been edited by slimey: Jan 27 2018, 09:08 PM |

QUOTE(slimey @ Jan 27 2018, 10:06 PM) blood test or urea breath test? I think 1-2 year ago. He had this H Pylori and did breath test. Okay already that time. Oh so right now, he should do the urea breath test instead ya. Ya still got some gastritis symptoms esp mid night time.if blood test then it means that previously infected and given treatment or currently infected if breath test means currently infected. .......... go to any general practitioner for eradication therapy ( 3 meds for up to 14 days) especially if symptomatic of gastritis. but if previously already treated for it and this is the result of blood test...............it means nothing actually........blood test for h pylori is not a good followup for previously treated h pylori |
