Yes, it didn't depend on the phone with the same sim card, once u receive the SMS to verify with the account and create password, u can login the account with any phone

I wish to port number on non-LTE phone (old phone) to Unifi@Mobile.
Where is the verification SMS sent to?
The old phone or the one with the app?
(the old phone is just a backup)

Better don't port to unifi, just use it as spare number
If u really wanna port in, then wait till it successfully connected to unifi 3g/H+/4G then only login with the apps for the first time, then it will send the verification code over to ur existing sim card

Validity period of old phonw SIM (Friendi) expires tomorrow.
After that cannot receive SMS or calls anymore.
(Just found out by accident yesterday Friendi has changed their validity terms. New terms unfavourable for backup phone)

What is the unfavorable new terms?
*
Used to be after every call or sms or internet usage your validity is renewed for 60 days.
New terms is top up get 30 days validity.

This is backup up phone and I've been running off the same top-up of RM5 for the past two years.
Still got RM2.41 left.
But under new terms the validity ended today (instead of next month)

Collected my simcard today at Seremban TM point. Wait was around 20 minutes with about 14 people ahead of me. Activated the number as a secondary line on my mate 10. Coverage so far so good. Can see the volte sign beside the unifi logo. Speed also ok. YouTube can load with no lags
*
Went to TM Point Seremban today aro9nd noon - habis stock
Had to leave my contact number for them to call when new stock arrives.
I have begun porting process for my other line and because no new SIM I may experience a gap when one service ends but the new service can;t be activated.

one of the unifi sim i will top up RM50 and buy 200min/200sms for RM30, and the rest use to call IDD to get no expiry freedom
*
I'm sorry..., but why the need to make IDD calls to maintain non-expiry of service?
(I'm late to this thread and may have missed something important earlier)

There are 3 ways to extend 90 days active line, reload, add on or pay per use. The cheapest way to extend 90 days is to make a IDD call~
*
Yes, but why IDD?
Why not a local call.
In fact, why not an SMS (after all it's only 10 sen)

Ok so I get it. We can call watever US website hotline in order to make the chargeable usage. One more question, how does it work since it is unlike prepaid which have money inside if I want to make idd call
*
I thought chargeable usage meant calls from your add-on like your 200 minutes of calls and not the free 10 minutes.
Or data usage not from the free 50MB
Or the SMS you bought.

Just for the sake of comparison, my former Friendi mobile service renews the 60 day validity period every time I call or sms.
(unfortunately they recently changed to renew validity for 30 days only after top up. That's why I ported to Unifi mobile)

I'm "helping" the marketing team to reach its 1Million goal before 31st March... LOL... still persuading my friends and family to "borrow" their myKad to register ...

My "rental" Unifi at home is working 24/7 non-stop too... this free 20GB is when I'm out and about...also, once finished 20GB, using the numbers for "other" "tricks" ...

I thought already 1 million SIMs given out?

define "outgoing usage"...? As in making a simple phone call...?

Since I'm a very light user, my voice quota can last me 6 months, data maybe up to a year, which is way beyond the 90 days validity...
*
Aiyoh!
Please don't start another round of argument on the semantics of "outgoing usage"
We just closed one chapter on the meaning of "chargeable usage", to start another on "outgoi9ng usage" would be murder.
It's enough to make the lawyers at TM kepala pusing.

to me, it's clear from Day 1 that you need to at least do a reload every 90 days to keep the line active. no way a telco can let you keep a line for so long just by making a RM0.15 call once every 90 days.

perhaps it's a poor marketing and wrong communication by TM. Apart from this, I'm not so sure why ppl need to be so outrage about it. it's still much better than having to top-up regularly for other telcos prepaid plans isn't it?
*
Not true. Friendi that used to renew validity for a fresh 60 days after every call, sms, internet use or top-up.
I kept my line alive for years by sms to my main number every first of the month.
I only reloaded once for RM5
I had to port to Unifi because Friendi just changed their T&C to require reload every 30 days.
Never finished my RM5
