My test experience on Johor Bahru: on a 850MHz LTE mobile phone : 2-15 Mbps while test on the city. Up to 20Mbps on my home (maybe there was no user at that time). Speeds around 30-50Mbps was achieveable when I connect with my mother's phone/when I place unifi SIM on my phone (which both of them has band 38/40 and only Band 5 and Band 38 are available in my area.)

QUOTE(Alex9182 @ Feb 26 2018, 01:36 AM) 3days ago when I applied still have. You mean you apply now it says 10Gb only? Unifi website still advertise 20Gb. The unifi website already changed to advertise as 10GB just now. https://unifi.com.my/mobile/index.html?custType=mobileThis post has been edited by shaun_kok: Feb 26 2018, 03:10 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Silfrijin @ Feb 26 2018, 03:55 PM) Indoor, data not moving. Anyone also having same experience ? Are you connected to 4G 850MHz? If yes then the speed will be very slow (1-5Mbps or even less) since has just 5MHzX2 bandwidth. Certain indoor areas (like malls) may have no 4G coverage at all.

QUOTE(stephantsen @ Mar 1 2018, 10:17 PM) is band 38 faster than band 40? i can only get around 20mbps on band 40 which is slower than band 38. Not for me however. I could get around 20-50Mbps on Band 38 on my area when I test via my mom's phone and my area only has Band 5 and Band 38. (maybe because the mast in my area is less congested even in peak time.) In an congested area on Taman Universiti, Johor, I could only get 6Mbps for Band 40 on peak hours (on a smartphone that only support Band 5 and 40.) In one occasion I get 45Mbps on fast.com on Band 40. (but this is done on daytime and not peak periods)

QUOTE(asjc16 @ Mar 10 2018, 06:15 PM) Does anyone of you having problem to receive sms from maxis numbers? All of my unifi mobile numbers could not receive sms from Maxis but no problem from Digi. I have contacted Maxis and they informed it was due to Unifi blocked maxis numbers. Have log the case thru unifi and they keep saying my sms center was set wrongly or my phone is not supported. Then they just asked to try using other phones and report back. Yet, they just closed my case. Hope to get some advise from here. No problem for me. (Use my Hotlink plan to send SMS to 2 different unifi mobile numbers and both received the SMS.)

QUOTE(jack2 @ Mar 12 2018, 10:48 AM) so no way to rectify other than to turn on plane mode and off again to restart the signal? Currently yes as the signal is getting worse due to free SIM promotion. My case is more weird. The network stays at 4g but it could suddenly drop from Band 38 to Band 5. This post has been edited by shaun_kok: Mar 12 2018, 02:27 PM
