After self collection at TMPoint, the all 5 sims already become activated?

No need bring it out, just use unifi mobile app to top up
*
So easy with the Unifi apps.
But Hotlink can’t use Hotlink apps without the Hotlink sim.
Keep saying ‘no internet connection’, even though it is connected.

I am also managing Digi Prepaid and TuneTalk through their respective apps without the SIMs being in the phone.

This is one of the main reasons I let my Hotlink backup line lapse.  Too much bother keeping it alive.
*
Seemed like only Hotlink is the one that can’t use their apps without their SIM card in the phone.

I have no problems with others too.

I am using Hotlink as main line. No issue paying. Other than apps, can pay via online banking (Maybank & Cimb) or http://www.hotlink.com.my/ .  Other than that, shops also have, 7-11 etc. The same goes for Digi and Celcom. Pretty mature and flexible.

Actually it is unifi mobile that is limited to app paying only.
*
No issues on topup.

I mean that need to insert Hotlink Sim into phone in order to use the Hotlink apps.
Other telco don’t need to use their own Sim for use in their own apps.
For instance, I can log into Unifi account (in Unifi apps) using other sim in phone.

Thought we can register up to 5 lines ? So if it is the 4th line one should still be able to register or port-in an existing number ?
Agreed. They should include something like "line is active until"...
*
Each I.C entitled to register up to 5 lines.

Wish they would include the expire date in the apps too.

The rule is 5 lines per telco. So if one has only 3 lines on Unifi Mobile, he/she still can register another 2 lines on Unifi Mobile.
*
Yes, what you say is true.

👍👍👍 Finally, a definite answer. Tarik balik all the misleading SMS. Now I can keep my 5 sims as long as possible, no need to rush, use slowly. Thanks to Soyacincau for persuing this matter for us users 🙏🙏🙏

To tell you the truth, I still don't trust their statement fully. There could still be a twist later on.
*
Yeah, me too.
Hopefully those who registered earliest would be giving feedback here about the validity.

Since the data provided is LTE, if I am using a 3G phone, can I still use the LTE data?

Currently using Samsung Note 2 for the unifi mobile sim card.

I can make call but cant access internet, even i have changed the APN setting.
*
No.

Got the message that a setting will be sent to me. But no setting received. So I just manually entered unifi APN.

Is it a different APN to enable VoLTE?
*
Try take sim out & insert back into phone.
Will get setting sent to you.

Very confusing plan... there is 2 date.. one is prepaid expiry date and another one is sim termination date.
Even i keep using the free data quota... it wont extend the validity days... wtf...
*
What do you mean ‘2 expiry date’?
Don’t usagevof the free data help extend the validity date?

1 is prepaid expiry date and
2nd is simcard termination date

and their  system got problem... even i did a top up on mid march... but my expiry date still the same ( 90 days from activation ) ... wtf
*
You got all these details from SMS ?

But was told by Unifi CS through Live Chat, that every time use data ( including the free data), call&SMS, will reset the validity to Day 1.
And will have 90 days from Day 1 to expiry date.

i use support chat with them.

i got 3 other sim use on MIFI.

all of them regularly use daily (swap 3 sim card alternate day).

even the one last one used on last few days, i ask them the expiry date is not even 90 days.
*
QUOTE(veron4best @ Mar 29 2018, 07:41 PM)
have to ask the support from App.
*
You mean Live Chat?
I have asked them, they say not possible to check, as every time use data, call&SMS, expiry date will reset.
That’s what they told me.

Will try to ask Live Chat again.
Thanks for sharing the info.

It's just RM30 experiment, RM10 to be wasted only. Nothing much. Not really interested to use it for long. Hehehe. Let see how it goes.

I got mine early March. 3 sims enough to test.  biggrin.gif

My old Celcom prepaid good enough... 24 months long term validity, RM20 for 2gb monthly data is more than enough for me. Can't even finish that 2gb  whistling.gif. 80% on super fast wifi (unlimited data), office wifi connected to 10gb TM metro-E and at home on 50mbps Unifi.
*
You’ll have ample time to figure out this. Most probably will get updates from those who activated in late January. Since yours are in March, long time to expire-lah....
