Tips:

All SIMs comes with "empty" mobile number in the 128K chip. Some smartphones can "save" the mobile number into the 128K chip. If one needs to keep many SIMs, one should "save" the number for individual SIM so that doesn't mix up when switching SIM. Very handy when trying to login to the mobile@unifi app...

Good tip.

I see... kinda dumb that they can't include this in the app. sweat.gif

Btw, if my card is not activated yet (not use yet), the expiry will be from the day I took the card or the day I first use it?
*
Yeah, why can’t the expiry date be included in the apps....

SIM card activated on the day you collected it.

Agreed. They should include something like "line is active until"...
*
Now can only rely on SNS notifications, that is if SIM card is inserted in phones.

What about those that uses it in modems?
No notifications la....

You don't get the point. Whether reload or add-on on same date, if you use the data or make phone call in future  , the 90 days should extend from the last data usage date, not follow the reload or add-on date.

At least that's what we are led to believe.
*
That's my initial understaning of how to extend unifi's validity.
Unfortunately, that is not the case at this point.

You have proven that unifi requires PURCHASE $$$$ to extend validity.

You don't want the used sims anymore must return to TM , or else jail 20 years to match the free 20 gb.

New users only jail 10 yrs 😁

TM’s t&c :

We may request you to return the SIM Card to us upon Termination of the Service, or when we issue you with a replacement for faulty SIM Card. We may impose a fee if you do not return the SIM Card to us upon our request.
We reserve the right to recall the SIM Card from you at any material time, without liability. We may also utilize any capacity in the SIM Card for administrative, network, business and/or commercial purposes.

folks... i got mine one... as the LTE not really available at my place, I decided to keep the card simply for calling purpose since it's kinda cheap at 0.15 per minute with the voice call pack...

so, my question is.. this sim card can put into any non-smart phone?? since I am going to use it for calling and receive call, so think of buying a normal rm100 non smart phone for it...
*
Works great on a non-smart phone.
Go ahead and get one.

Wonder those who already registered 5 SIMs with mobile@unifi, meaning already reached the capacity for registering new prepaid numbers and no longer can register any new number with any telco? hmm.gif
Under the MCMC’s new guidelines, enforced early this year, an individual may now only own a maximum of five prepaid numbers.
Dubious prepaid lines to be cut
*
5 SIM cards per telco.

thanks, bro... going to shop for a non smart phone... miss the days where we charge phone only in couple of days.. haha rclxms.gif
*
Well, go get one non smart phone now, and one charge can last for days !

Just pointing out, there’s a tendency for the message
‘Allow SIM card to send a message?’.
If this pops out, just ignore it & deny it.

Oh.. what a nice info... bro, sorry for my ignorance.. when it asked for allow SIM to send message, shouldn't we accept it instead of denying it? Thanks in advance for further explains...  thumbup.gif
*
I don’t think you should allow it.
You might be charged for sending that SMS.

You can always try ALLOW SIM card to send, see if you are charged an SMS cost on you.
I have always deny sending, so I do not know if I will de deducted an SMS cost from my credit.

Anyway, using a non smart phone is for us to just receive & make calls & SMS.
Don’t need other extras options. Convenience is for our usage.
Priority and concern is only can make & receive calls & SMS.
Other stuff just omit-lah!

I wonder if all of you who request this feature and post in this forum had took the effort to complain to TM?

log into mobile@unifi app and go to Support>Online Form.
Enquiry Type: Account Related & Delivery
Enquiry Details: Mobile App (mobile@unifi) & Self-Care
and fill in the Messege box with your request.
*
Yup! Submit request individually, so that TM knows it’s a feature MOST would want to have in the apps.
Even add the request when doing Live Chat too.
Every action adds weight to our request for validity date to be added in apps in future updates.
